Any youth in the North Carolina Conference that have completed the 6th-12th grades. You are encouraged to bring your entire youth group. What is Camp Song Sing Along?

Camp Song Sing Along is a youth event for youth in the N.C. Conference of the United Methodist Church. This event was designed by current and former youth and youth leaders of the N.C. Conference. It is a one day, three hour event, typically held in September.

Scripture tells us numerous times to sing our praise to the Lord. That is what this event is all about, singing praise. While the majority of the event is singing, there will be a message, communion, a time of fellowship and a time to hang out with and get to know God.

Where is Camp Song Sing Along held?

What do I need to bring?

The main thing you need to bring is yourself and a willingness to praise the Lord! You should also bring your youth group and friends. We especially encourage you to bring friends who may not know Jesus Christ! This would be a perfect time for them to learn about and get to know Him!

You should also bring money. This is a free event, however we will be taking up a love offering for YSF (Youth Service Fund). There will also be miscellaneous YSF items for sale. All proceeds from the love offering and the sale of merchandise will go to YSF in support of their many ministries.

What is YSF?
Youth Service Fund (YSF) is a mission fund exclusively of United Methodist Youth. YSF is money raised by youth, spent by youth to benefit youth.

For every dollar of YSF money raised, $.30 goes to the National Youth Ministry Organization where youth from across the US determine grants given to ministries helping youth across the world. The $.70 that remains in the NC Conference is used 1/3 for Conference youth ministry, 1/3 for In-Conference projects and 1/3 for Out-of-Conference Projects. Our Youth Service Fund Task Force made up of the Conference youth treasurer and one youth representative from each district (selected at ACS each summer) determine how YSF monies from this Conference are spent.

Some of the ministries that YSF supports are: Positive Attitude Youth Center in Burlington, Footprints Youth Mission Camp at MERCI, Jubilee Project - Hancock County, TN, EndTime Cross Road Ministry - Wauchula, FL, ZOE - Zimbabwe Orphans Endeavor
